From Industry Pioneer to Bestselling Author
As a working screenwriter with five produced Christmas movies in the post-pandemic era, Isabel Dréan is perfectly positioned to help other writers break into the industry and earn a living from their craft. When Dréan discovered verticals, she recognized an opportunity for writers to make a sustainable income (she herself had secured her first vertical drama writing gig in March 2025 and created a show that reached number one on Vigloo by October).
“My specialty is really trying to find where people can get jobs,” Dréan explains. “Nobody talks about the surviving. Any type of revenue that you can make as a writer is a win.”
