The Actors Heading to Ukraine for Vertical Dramas
Kyiv is a hub for vertical drama production
Ukraine is fast becoming the place to be for actors chasing the vertical drama boom. With tech company HOLYWATER and production studio AMO Pictures teaming up on more than 70 new vertical series, actors from the Europe and North America are traveling to Kyiv to take part in high-profile mobile-first productions, even amid challenging conditions.
AMO Pictures has launched its Act & Travel program, inviting actors from Europe and the US to join productions in Ukraine. The program aims to help actors grow, collaborate internationally, and shape the future of the vertical drama industry.
The program covers travel, accommodation, extra security precautions, and visas. Actors are also compensated and may have the opportunity to land up to two or three lead roles while in Kyiv.
