If you have been following the vertical drama industry this past year, you have likely come across Dana Protsyshak, Queen of Verticals. Through her production company, Dana Productions, she works on scripts, production, and events. Under the VertIGo umbrella she is now also working on an app. Behind the Verticals sat down with her recently for an interview.
A Three-Division Production Company
Dana launched her production company in February 2025 with three divisions: a writers room, production, and events. The writers room is seeing the most demand, working with clients across India, Canada, Europe, and the US to develop scripts based on anything from detailed synopses to simple prompts about trending topics. But the real strategy is more sophisticated: “The goal with it is to obviously pitch them our originals with a deal that if they like this original, please use our production company.
